Pedestrian hit by vehicle on dark Minnesota highway and killed, patrol says

The crash occurred in northwestern Minnesota on Hwy. 59, the State Patrol said.

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on a dark northwestern Minnesota highway early Friday and killed, officials said Friday.

The crash occurred south of Mahnomen on Hwy. 59, the State Patrol said.

Officials have yet to release further details about how the crash occurred, nor have they identified either the driver or the pedestrian.
