Minnesota Top 25: The Star Tribune’s statewide ranking of girls basketball teams

Eastview lost only twice before winning 19 of its next 20 games.

Eastview has quietly climbed the ladder.

The Lightning have won 19 of their last 20 games and have moved up to No. 7 in the Minnesota Top 25, the Star Tribune’s statewide girls basketball rankings.

Their only loss in that span was to Eden Prairie, 73-65, during the Eagan Holiday Tournament.

Eastview’s two other losses this season are to top-ranked Providence Academy and Wayzata. The Lightning are only allowing 45.7 points per game.

Records through Wednesday. All schools are Class 4A unless otherwise noted.
