He joined the Minnesota Star Tribune in 2000. Ron also served as editor of Minnesota Basketball News for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining the Minnesota Star Tribune, Ron worked at the Mesabi Daily News in Virginia, Minnesota, for nearly 17 years from 1983-99.
