Woman found shot to death in Richfield apartment

Police said 22-year-old woman was found during a welfare check.

A woman was shot to death in Richfield, officials said Wednesday.

Kayli Grace Arseth, 22, of Richfield died from a gunshot wound to the head, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Arseth’s manner of death was ruled a homicide.

About 9 a.m. Tuesday, police performed a welfare check on Arseth at her apartment in the 7700 block of Penn Avenue S., according to police. Arseth’s family said their daughter had not been heard from and had not reported to work. Police said they found Arseth dead inside her apartment. There appeared to be signs of a struggle.

No arrests have been made in the case.
