On Friday, the Class 2A and 1A state semifinals take place at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.

Four teams in 1A advanced to the semifinals on Thursday. The 2A quarterfinals were Tuesday.

Class 1A

Noon: Cherry 79, Nevis 70

2 p.m.: Dawson-Boyd 80, Red Lake County 66

Class 2A

6 p.m.: Albany 59, Caledonia 54

8 p.m.: Waseca 68, Breck 60
