A minor was grazed in the head by a bullet in Brooklyn Park Saturday night, police said.

Officers arrived at the Kensington Place apartments in the 8300 block of Zane Avenue N. around 10 p.m. following reports of gunfire. They found a vehicle struck by two bullets.

A subsequent 911 call helped them locate a victim, after a caller said they were with a wounded juvenile two blocks away. Officers who responded to that scene found the juvenile, who was transported to a hospital, with a minor wound from a bullet that grazed their head.

Hennepin County crime scene deputies processed evidence of the shooting. Police identified the apartment complex’s entrance as the incident’s initial scene.
