Minnesota lawmakers are weighing whether to make changes to the state’s paid family medical leave law, including exempting certain businesses.

Another proposal introduced earlier this session proposed delaying implementation for a year, meaning Minnesotans wouldn’t be eligible for 12 weeks of paid leave under state law until 2027.
