The Lynx are headed back to Brooklyn on Sunday for the best-of-five series finale, following a stunning nail-biter Friday that saw the team defeat the New York Liberty in the final seconds.
Where to watch the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty on Sunday for Game 5 of the WNBA Finals
ESPN and KFAN-FM will air the game, but plenty of venues are hosting watch parties in town.
The championship run marks the second time this year that a pro sports team from the North Star State will compete for a national title (the Minnesota Frost hockey team took home the inaugural Walter Cup in May).
It’s also the second time a Minnesota basketball franchise has made a playoff run this year. The Timberwolves made it to the NBA’s Western Conference Finals in the spring, falling to the Dallas Mavericks in five games.
Where to follow the game
The Lynx will play the Liberty at 7 p.m., at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. ESPN on TV and KFAN-FM on the radio will air the game.
Where to watch around the Twin Cities
Many bars and breweries around the metro will be showing the game, especially the downtown bars near the Target Center. Here are a few standouts.
