The wreck was near 7th Avenue. Drivers were diverted off the freeway and over to 5th Avenue for re-entry.

Motorists were diverted off the freeway at 7th Avenue and directed to re-enter at 5th Avenue while the lanes were closed, the agency said.
The eastbound lanes reopened about 7:30 a.m. after being closed for about three hours.
“The extent of injuries has not yet been determined,” the State Patrol said in its most recent update..
In a different crash, the southbound lanes of Hwy. 61 at County Road C in Maplewood were closed Monday morning as authorities investigated an incident involving a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle.
